There are many kinds of people in this world and all surprisingly different to each other when it comes to habits and nature. The world is full of goodness, but on the other hand, there are people who are toxic for you because of the bad habits that they accompany.
It is all natural that when you live among people, you cannot always encounter people who are good in nature so it is a fact that you must accept. There are many ways according to Islam which you can follow if you need to deal with toxic people effectively. Please have a look at them:
There are many qualities that make a person toxic. The level of toxicity depends on the bad habits that you have. People who are toxic think only about themselves, their thought process is very negative, they try to control other people and their lives, and they are passive. You mostly feel uncomfortable when you are around the people who are toxic. Toxic people have no empathy for anyone, and they only care about themselves.
A believer and the person who is full of goodness do not get affected by the toxic people at all. Remember that when someone tries to control your life, this is the number one sign they are showing off their toxicity and Allah only judge you for your actions not what the person is asking you to do unless you don’t do it with your intention of doing so.
Quran: “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (13:11)
Dealing with people who are toxic is hard but not as hard as you think. You must take care of yourself and think about the positive side of everything. Stay positive and do what is right only, equality is all you need to think about. Do not just love others, love yourself too! Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said:
“None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” (Tirmidhi)
You should take care of your company, and you should surround yourself with people that are positive and good in nature. A good company will leave a very healthy impact on you. Prophet of Allah (SAW) stated:
“A person is in the religion of his companions. Therefore let every one of you carefully consider the company he keeps.” (Tirmidhi)
You should stay patient even if the other person you are dealing with is toxic. Patience is the best cure for every person in life. Take the things calmly and stay humble at every step of the way.
Quran: “O you, who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” (2:153)
You should trust Allah for every single thing in life. What Allah plans is the best of the plan so you must trust Allah for everything. Even if you have toxic people around, Allah knows the purpose of why they are there, and it might turn out to be a great lesson for you. Keep asking Allah for His forgiveness, and He will make a way out for you.
These are all very effective tips that you can use when dealing with toxic people as written in Islam.
